Key copy was perfect, fairly quick but expensive at $8.60ish.

While the keys were shallow, and not de-burred, they did their job and opened the doors. The interface on the KeyMe could be a little clearer as to when to remove the key, etc. I presumed when the lighted ring round the key receptacle turned off, that it was time to remove the key. When it turned back on, I worried I had botched it by pulling the key, but again at the end of the day it worked. It was pretty quick and easy.

Since our local hardware store is closed due to Covid I had to come here to get copies made after our landlord replaced our front door locks. I should have only done 1 just to make sure the machine worked because I could see that the new key was wrong right away. They weren’t even close. The top key in the photo is the original and the bottom is the KeyMe one. EDIT: I received an email from KeyMe asking about my purchase, and I responded about my unhappiness. The Customer Service people responded very quickly and refunded my full payment without my asking to. While I appreciate their quick resolution and give them props for that, the machine didn’t do correctly the one thing that it’s supposed to do, so I cannot change my star rating.
